How Often Do You Review Your Goals

We all know that time heals all things. Wounds from words spoken out of anger. Breakups from long ago. The passing of a loved one.  The effects of a global panic.

Deep down, I know this. In my brain of brains, I know this.

In my heart? Well, she's timid and cautious. Why? Because she FEELS. The brain knows the way, the heart feels the way.

At the first signs of a global spiral, the brain got really upset at the goals and the trajectory of this ministry.

"How silly and insignificant this is! Stop talking about organizing and simplifying, there are bigger fish to fry!"

The finger wagging in my tender heart's face. She cowered. "Perhaps you are right, perhaps this is all so unimportant."

She retreated to do some feeling.

During this time, you may find yourself in a similar space, questioning your ministry and your choice to start a small business. Worried about the trickle down effect and trying to locate the beginning so you can think your way into what is next. Into what makes sense.

Instead of thinking our way out of this, why don't we try feeling our way out of it.

My heart came back to the table with a very valid argument. This is not silly and stupid. This is not invaluable. This is not a time to retreat. This is not a time to worry. Dear brain, this is a time to bring these messages up and out with full heart force behind it. This is a time to rise as a leader. Of self. Of family. Of community.

The shallow waters of life have all of a sudden gotten very deep and many people are drowning. Let's reach out our hands and pull them up!

If you find yourself retreating from your goals, your aspirations, your dreams, then watch my video below. There is something very simple that we can do each and every day to keep Future You alive and well.

Can you do it? Of course you can. The question then becomes, will you?
